Our Curriculum

Research-Based. Literacy-First. Built for Results.

At Premier Childcare Learning Academy, curriculum is everything.

Every learning experience, interaction, and activity is guided by one central commitment: giving our children the strongest possible foundation, beginning with literacy.

We use the Creative Curriculum® and the Science of Reading because they are grounded in decades of educational research and proven to support strong academic outcomes. Together, these evidence-based approaches help children build the literacy, language, and critical thinking skills they need to enter school with confidence.

A Research-Based Foundation for Learning

The Creative Curriculum® is one of the most respected frameworks in early childhood education, providing an evidence-based approach to developing literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, and social-emotional skills.

At Premier CCLA, children learn through purposeful, hands-on experiences that build knowledge, confidence, and independence while meeting each child at their individual stage of development.

Children develop:

  • Strong literacy and language skills

  • Mathematical reasoning and problem-solving

  • Scientific curiosity and inquiry

  • Social-emotional confidence and self-regulation

  • Critical thinking and independence

The Gold Standard in Early Literacy

Literacy is at the heart of everything we do.

The Science of Reading draws on decades of research into how children learn to read. This evidence-based approach guides our literacy instruction, helping children become confident, capable readers through explicit, systematic teaching.

Our instruction focuses on the five pillars of reading:

  • Phonemic Awareness – hearing and manipulating sounds

  • Phonics – connecting sounds with letters

  • Fluency – reading accurately and confidently

  • Vocabulary – building language and word knowledge

  • Comprehension – understanding and thinking critically about text

Our goal isn't simply to teach children to read—it's to develop confident readers who enter kindergarten prepared to succeed.

Family Partnership in Academic Progress

Research is clear: children make the greatest academic progress when their families are actively engaged in their learning. At Premier CCLA, family partnership is integral to our program.

Throughout the year, we host family involvement events and activities focused on children's academic milestones and learning progress, keeping parents informed, involved, and empowered as active participants in their child's education.

Every family also receives daily updates through the Playground app, ensuring that parents are always informed and connected to their child's learning journey.
